Tina’s Email Blast – June That Crack DJ “Voter Gate”
Lady mix-T sent the following email blast – she asked us to post the email here b/c she wanted a place to share the email responses she is receiving – at your service Miss T:
June was a competitive month. That Crack family DJs put in some major work. Multiple DJs were nominated for our monthly mixtape DJ award based on Mixtapes released, exclusives, covers & intros. The viral mixtape tracking tool created additional interest & more votes were cast in June than any previous month.
At one point we saw crazy vote swings. I’m very impressed to report the DJs affected by “voter-gate” contacted that crack asking us to check into the votes, they didn’t want to win if the votes were not real.
Various back-end stats helped us identify a block of time during which the votes were likely manipulated. We removed the suspect votes and found 4 DJs were clearly the top vote getters of the month.
As always, we strive to support That Crack DJs & Artists and are committed to fair competition.
We created a forty-eight hour 4 DJ run-off. Run-off voting started this morning, July 2 & will continue for 48 hours.
The run-off votes will determine the That Crack DJ of June.
