P Diddy says Rick Ross is Better than Biggie

While shooting the video for Dirty Money’s Angel remix featuring Rick Ross , Diddy compared the southern rapper’s rhyming skills to that of the late great, Biggie Smalls. What a damn joke ! Is there a reason Puffy is riding Officer Rickys little wee wee. I dont know but to say that Ricky is at Biggies level is disrespectful and Laughable.

“Oh y’all ain’t hear the second verse,” said Diddy to SpliffTV about Ross’ contribution.

Floyd Money Mayweather gets at Officer Ricky Ross

It’s been months since the release of the beef-igniting “Mafia Music.” But multi-division boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has not forgotten Rick Ross’ unprovoked jab at him.
While most focused on the lines aimed at Mayweather friend 50 Cent, Ross also questioned the validity of Mayweather’s wealth claims, despite the boxer grossing $50 million in 2007.

(“That Mayweather money looking funny in the light.”)
In an exclusive multi-part interview, Mayweather framed Ross as an unoriginal artist who appropriated the lifestyles and appearance of other individuals.
“Cassidy already did ‘I’m a Hustla,’ and he’s an East Coast rapper. That’s already been done. Freeway already came out with the beard look. And then the real Rick Ross was really getting it as a hustler,” Mayweather explained. “I don’t have to take no shots at Rick Ross. I don’t think he’s making $20-$30 million every time he goes out there to perform. I got my own name, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather. That’s original. With his rap career, I wish him nothing but the best.”

Regarding Ross’ initial flip-flopping on the corrections officer issue, Mayweather references that controversy as proof the Miami rapper is simply selling a false image.

“His stats and credentials don’t rhyme. One minute he said he wasn’t a CO or cop, next minute he is,” Mayweather said. “He can learn how to get money from me. If he’s a cop and rapping about selling drugs, I guess he was a dirty cop! You know me, I’m not ducking and dodging no one, it’s not hard to find me. I’m in Miami all the time, Atlanta, everywhere.”
Although cognizant that comments like his have a history of igniting “beefs,” Floyd Mayweather feels Ross is simply a disgruntled fan lashing out.

“Me and my manager Al Haymon were the ones that did Lil Wayne’s last tour. So when I seen Rick Ross in Miami on the first show, he broke his neck to speak to me,” Mayweather stated.

“Rap has truly changed. He was at my Hatton fight, cheering me on. I guess he got upset because I’m cool with 50 Cent. But like I said, if I need someone arrested I’ll call him.”
Floyd Mayweather is currently preparing for his anticipated September 19 return bout against fellow pound for pound elite Juan Manuel Marquez.

The Game to drop the RED Album Collabs with Officer Ricky

The Game has kept his distance from the public eye for a few months, but songs of his have recently leaked. The California based emcee has reached out to fans with some leaked tracks and new collaborations. He recently spoke about this and more during an interview with MTV.com.

The Game, a former G-Unit affiliate, is now working with one of 50 Cent’s biggest enemies, Rick Ross. Still, don’t expect this to bring up old beef between “Hurricane” and Fif.

“Hey, man, me and Ross working together, it ain’t got nothing to do with me and 50,” he told MTV. “I ain’t even on 50′s head like that no more. You notice when 50 Cent put his little dis song out, he left me out. You notice when 50 talks, he leaves me out of that shit. I didn’t pick no sides in the 50 Cent/Rick Ross beef. I’m about hip-hop these days. Rick Ross is my nigga. 50 used to be my nigga.”

The Game has also announced that he has started working on a new album. This one will be titled The R.E.D. Album and he currently has beats from Timbaland and Drumma Boy [click to read] for the new disc.

“Bang Along,” a leaked track, hit the net recently. The Game says he leaked it to get people excited for his new work.

“Niggas like that, man,” he added. “I threw that out as a little frisbee.”

Aside from this, an unfinished track labeled “Cigar Music 2″ hit the net. The Game says he didn’t know much about the track, adding that he was surprised to hear that it leaked and that it was given that title.

The report also notes that The Game will drop a slew of mixtapes in the summertime, before his R.E.D. Album hits stores. No official release date for the album has been given.

Officer Ricky still talking reckless taking more jabs at Slim Shady

While claiming to be “past” his on-going feud with 50 Cent, Def Jam recording artist Rick Ross continues to be vocal in the press about his disdain for his rival and those affiliated to him. In a recent interview with Canadian television network Much Music, Ross takes more jabs at the G-Unit/Shady camp.

According to MuchMusic.com, Ross revealed that despite his recent challenge to Eminem, he remains a fan of Shady Records’ flagship artist.

However, he isn’t very impressed with Em’s latest releases.

“I’m just not impressed with the music I’m hearing,” the Miami rapper stated. “But hopefully, Imma buy his album when it come out, if it don’t disappoint me too bad. You know, we’ll see.”

The comment comes just weeks after Ross told MTV News that he would be interested in being involved with Eminem’s highly anticipated fifth major label release, Relapse, due out May 19.

While Ross did not necessarily indicate a desire to continue a rivalry with Eminem, he did continue his war of words with 50′s G-Unit camp in the new interview, which is set to air on an upcoming episode of MuchNewsWeekly.

“I done put out a number one album, and you know, I finished those guys. G-Unit was dropped from Interscope,” he added, clapping. “They still can’t dress, they’re monkeys, but that’ll never change.”

While the beef between 50 Cent and Rick Ross may not go down in Hip-Hop history for the actual rhymes exchanged, it does stand out as one of the most entertaining, employing tactics including animated videos, X-Rated videos and outings with the mother of one of Ross’ children.

Asked if he felt 50 Cent had taken things too far, the portly Slip-N-Slide recruit explained that as long as the beef did not escalate to gun violence, one could not say it had “gone too far.”

“Where I come from, you need AK-47s to go far,” he explained. “Anything short of that, we’ll label you a girl, kick you in the butt and send you home, and that’s pretty much what I did.”

Rick Ross’s third studio release, Deeper Than Rap, remains at the number four position on The Billboard 200 chart, where it debuted in the number one spot last week with 150,000 copies sold in the first week of release. All the copies were rumored to be bought by the label to make it look like Officer Ricky had a number 1 album.

Officer Rick Ross does in Store NYC CD signing – nobody shows up HOT TOPIC LOTS OF COMMENTS

Last Thursday saw an in-store signing session with rapper Rick Ross at Best Buy in New York. That’s nothing new – they do a meet and greet most weeks – except Rick’s should be filed under ‘this is just embarrassing’ Rick Ross is a joke.

The sight of an empty queue system is pretty sad, especially as people have a tendency to join a queue even if they have no idea what’s at the other end (or is that just in England?). Get Up Stand Up’s picture timeline might say more about failing music shops than the popularity of Rick Ross. We told you followers of hiphopspy that Officer Rickys career is over. Must of his cds were bought by the record label to try and manipulate the billboard charts, this is a common thing these days so they can say there artist is number 1 on the charts, when actually most best buys and walmarts are going to stop selling cds by the end of 2010. Nobody buys cds these days and definately nobody wants to buy this frauds cd. I saw it for free download everywhere and passed.

Picture taken in front of the store, haha nobody showed up, they had barriers there for when real stars

drop a cd.

Officer Ricky says he is going after EMINEM

Rick Ross is moving up the Aftermath food chain, no longer interested in 50 Cent. Instead, Ross, who just released his third album Deeper Than Rap, has set his sights on Fif’s boss, Eminem.

“I mean, I’m a fan of Eminem,” said Ross to MTV News. “I’m a fan first and foremost. But after defeating Curly, my confidence is at an all-time high. Maybe before I wouldn’t have challenged him, but I’m contemplating it now. The game is commending me for my victory. That’s all I wanted to do was … punish the opposition. I think I’ve done a great job and I’m gonna continue to do that.”

Ross appears to be particularly adamant about this, as this is the second time in the past week he has expressed interest in possibly challenging Eminem.

“I think he’s a bigger and better artist than what Curly is,” continued Ross. “So if I was looking to fulfill that excitement or that rush, that’s who I have to address.”

However, Ross revealed he’d be interested in being a part of Shady’s upcoming album, Relapse.

“I’m trying to be a part of that,” Ross said. “It’s either way. We gonna see each other one way or another.” We at Hiphopspy think its just a promo stunt to sell a couple more copies of his album for officer Ricky. He cant be serious trying to go at Eminem. Eminem been in the Lab for a couple of years, Ross must just want to be the next Ja rule. 50 already destroyed ross when he had his baby mama doing a porno , I mean dude got so destroyed by that he need to retire. Officer Ricky got like zero fans. What a joke
