ThatCrack Mixtape DJ for the Month of June is ?

The month of June there were 15 Mixtape DJs Nominated based on number of Mixtapes released, Quality of Mixtape,Covers,Mixes,Exclusives and Viral Players posted and Overall grind. This past months competition was loaded with top flite DJs and received more votes than any month since we started the competition. ThatCrack awards a trophy each month to the winner of the competition. The Competition starts on the 1st of each month and the voting starts on the 20th of each month and concluding at the end of the month. The Mixtape DJ for the month of June as chosen by the voters and visitors of ThatCrack is awarded to DJ 4Five. Below are all of the Mixtapes released by DJ 4Five for the month of June. Sucker DJs Part 1

A ongoing list of stupid things DJs do that make them seem like a Idiot or Gay or both.

1. Mixtape DJs that put Lil Wayne on every cover of every Mixtape they drop. Aka Whiteowl and Aka Evil Empire  both are Lil Wayne nut riders.
2. Club DJs that play nothing but commercial radio tracks that are 6 months old and never play Indie artists, these DJs are the weakest of the weak. They can play whatever they want but they are still playing lollipop and thinking they are rocking the club. Get some backbone play a new track or actually do some mixing.
3. Played out Mixtape forums that Mixtape DJs submit Mixtapes to be reviewed by persons that never released a mixtape in their life. I mean why bother, who are these people to rate a mixtape? Nobodies! Why waste time on a forum talking about other DJs and artists and badmouthing everyone, what a waste of time. These Forums which I will not name are for the Little kids and Newby DJs and the fat Forum owners to sit around and act like they run Hip Hop  hahahah what a laugh.
4. Mixtape DJs that send mass emails out to vote for them for one of the fixed mixtape award shows that goes on every 3 months. Banners on sites that say vote for me for mixtape dj of the century or whatever. If by chance you won a award it will not bring you anything but a 2 dollar trophy to sit on the counter of your house. You will not be given a parade and when you brag about it like 2 time Justo winner etc. It means nothing it does not turn into money. But it will make the promoters money.
5. DJ groups or sets or cliques that trick djs into paying dues or ask them to support certain major label artists. What is the return on playing the record? Nothing !! The artist might make some money and the President of the DJ Group usually get paid under the table. DJs dont be a dumbass and dont be a follower.
6. Radio Djs that play pre programmed music their whole shift by pushing a button. This type of DJ seems to think he is the shit but in reality he is not even a DJ at all, he is a radio personality. You might see them occasionally at a club gig, and they are always the weakest DJ to ever touch a mixer.
7. All DJs that dont play Indie artists music either in the club on the radio or put there tracks on your mixtapes, you are the worst DJ of all and a bonified Homo DJ. If you support only major artists then why do we need you. You are a follower and worthless.
8. Mixtape DJs that badmouth other Mixtape DJs. Saying this DJ and that DJ is a internet DJ, or his mixtapes arent on the street. How do you know they arent being moved in his hood or out of his trunk? You dont. And If that DJ chooses not to move units on these played out internet sites why does it bother you? Because the internet made it so everyone can get some shine now. Just cause your mixtapes arent in certain stores or flea markets or hood stores does not make you any lesser of a DJ. The online Mixtape stores are dead. Dont bother with them you will do much better moving units in your own hood and keeping all the profits. Dont be a sucker. Dont listen to the dinosaur DJs that still try and slang on the internet. They are game over, times have changed. You can always move units on the streets and out the trunk.
9. Mixtape DJs that pay Graphic cover Designers over $100.00 a cover. Dont do it their are plenty of up and coming designers that need work and are starving, give them a chance and save some money. Dont waste your money on some of these same style covers for the last 5 years designers,who want over a 100 a cover. Dont do it. Dont be a Sucker

The Mixtape awards are tonight

The Annual Mixtape Awards was established in 1995 by Orpheous “Justo” Fasion, to help cultivate the under-standing, appreciation and advancement of the Disc Jockey – from the street, club and radio DJ to the platinum selling Artist signed to major record labels. The Mixtape Awards is designed to honor DJs and Artist who constantly raise the bar within the music industry. The 11th annual awards take place tonight in NYC. Well the mixtape awards used to be respected by all of the Hip Hop world when Justo was alive, now it is just a joke. Whoever took the reins when Justo passed has reduced the awards to a low budget swap meet. Last years awards were cut short by fighting and overall they were trash. Rapmullet awarded them the mixtape murder of the year, everyone I talked to that went said the awards must of been run by some crack head. This year half the DJ’s on the ballot should not be on the ballot, most of the top mixtape DJ’s were not on the ballot. The artist’s must of been rigged, because multiple artists that should of been on the ballot are not, Some artists that are on the ballot are there because they voted for themselves 2 million times. Then there is the thousands of emails we have received from the DJ’s and artists begging someone to vote for them. What the fuck? How tacky is that, you are begging people to go vote for you for a award that is basically rigged and for a award that means nothing.Hahahaha everytime I receive one of these emails I have to shake my head. I wont name names, but they all say the same thing. What a joke. We appreciate what Justo did for the mixtape DJ’s and Artists, but when he passed away, the whole mixtapeawards has went down the tube from nominating to voting to the show, it has all turned into a big pile of shit. I bet Justo is turning over in his grave,when he see’s how low budget the show has become. We at Hiphopspy dont even want to know who wins what, dont tell us and myspace us to death about it. Take your little trophy and place it on your shelf and then sit by your phone and wait for it to ring with some label on the the other line wanting to give you a million dollars. We think you might be waiting a very long time.
