Taylor Swift Clowns Kanye West on Saturday Night Live

Teen country singer Taylor Swift appeared on Saturday Night Live Yesterday and got back at rapper Kanye West, who made a fool of himself during her speech at the MTV Music Awards in September.

Swift, 19, hosted the long-running late night sketch comedy show. She opened SNL with her original acoustic composition, “The Monologue Song (La, La, La).”

“You might be expecting me to say something bad about Kanye/and how he ran up on the stage and ruined my VMA monologue/But there‘s nothing more to say/everything‘s ok/I have security lining the stage…”

The studio audience broke out into laughter and cheers as Swift is flanked by two fake security guards as she finished her song, which also took shots at her former boyfriend Joe Jonas.

Kanye West a no Show at the BET awards show

We at HipHopSpy dont support awards shows anymore , you have heard in the past how we have exposed them for what they are, nothing more than  a way for a promoter to make money off of them, and for awards shows like BET it is nothing but a big promo awards show for the labels and overall they basically suck, but enough of my views on awards show, on to the show.

Kanye West is finally taking that much-needed “time off” from his stage-hijacking shenanigans.

After infamously stealing Taylor Swift’s spotlight at the MTV Video Music Awards, the rapper bailed on the 4th Annual BET Hip Hop Awards Saturday evening, giving up his nine chances to stage yet another remix-worthy, acceptance speech crashing moment.

While bloggers across the country were probably chomping at the bit for that video posting opportunity, it’s safe to say the self-proclaimed egomaniac I think im bigger than Elvis and I wear tight tight pants ,saved himself a beatdown by not jumping on stage with a nominee competitor like Young Jeezy or officer Rick Ross.

Top nominees turned no-shows was somewhat of a theme for the awards show, held at the Atlanta Civic Center. The runner-up to West’s bevy of nominations, T.I., was missing in action as a result of his lockdown in an Arkansas prison on a federal weapons charge.

But that didn’t stop the rapper from taking home two awards

The six-time nominee won best collaboration for “Live Your Life” with Rihanna and album of the year for “Paper Trail”. His fiancée Tameka “Tiny” Cottle accepted his awards on his behalf, and read a letter from T.I.,

“Although I’m not there with you all, I’m there in spirit”, Cottle read. “My road to redemption is almost over….thanks for the support.”

Commercial radio newcomer and former Degrassi bit actor Drake winning “Rookie of the Year” and gangster rapper turned First Sunday star Ice Cube taking home the “I am Hip-Hop” icon award.

Hip hop spinners were also included in the ceremony. Busta Rhymes presented the award for “DJ of the Year” to the late DJ AM. Just because someone dies does not mean they deserve a award. DJ AM awarded Hip Hop DJ of the year and he is not even Hip Hop , He spun 99% percent Dance music, We understand respect , but that is just ridiculous.
One of the highlights of the show included Jay-Z, who was honored with the “MVP of the Year” award, taking the stage with Young Jeezy and performing “Real as It Gets”.

We’re hoping big forehead Lil’ Mama didnt jump on stage like last time. The show airs sometime at the end of the month, not sure and wont watch.

Kanye West and Lady Gaga Tour Cancelled !! Who Cares ? Anyone ?

Two weeks after the joint tour was announced to fans Live Nation has officially noted that the Kanye West and Lady Gaga tour Fame Kills has been cancelled. Although rumors claim that the cancellation is an attempt to give West some time off, the reason for this news was not revealed.

Tickets went on sale two weeks ago for the 34-show North American tour. Live Nation has announced that refunds are available to anyone who purchased these tickets.

“Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Tickets purchased online and via phone will be refunded automatically,” read the statement on the Fame Kills website.

Kanye West was recently seen at the Common Ground Foundation’s benefit concert in Los Angeles, after Common claimed the rapper would not come out due to backlash of the MTV VMA night’s events. Nevertheless, Kanye came out and seemed to be in good spirits. Since then, Lady Gaga has spoken openly about the elaborate planning for the event. 50 Cent referred to West and Lady Gaga’s upcoming Fame Tour as the “Gay Tour.”We at Hiphopspy would not of attended this concert if we had free tickets. This would of been nothing but a Homo festival in every city it was scheduled for. No Homo !!

Kanye and Taylor Swift VMA incident revealed as a Hoax

The water cooler talk on Monday was on how, Kanye “The world revolves around me” West, stole the microphone from Taylor Swift during her speech for winning her first moon man at last nights VMA’s.

The reality behind the lack of security and “biggest moment of the night” is, Kanye was probably told to do this. The world didn’t need to know that Kanye was ego driven or that Beyonce probably had a better video. The audience and MTV needed a hero with Taylor and to create a hero, you need a villain.

Kanye isn’t going to lose any of his fan base by attacking a teen country star. He is going to look more the part of a wild hip hop artists by rushing the stage telling the world his opinion.

Beyonce then gets a chance to play heroine besides Taylor at the end of the night. Sasha Fierce did end up winning for her video and during her acceptance speech brings out Ms. Swift now in a matching red dress, surprise!

The night was just as scripted as “reality tv’” proving once again that MTV is about ratings and not music.
