Arrest Warrant issued in Arizona for Lil Waynes arrest

Even if Weezy is currently serving a one year sentence in New York, officials in Yuma County, Arizona, have just issued an arrest warrant for the rapper due to a court date he missed yesterday. Lil Wayne was arrested early 2008 when DEA agents searched his tour bus and found pills, a pistol, just over a quarter pound of weed & a ounce of cocaine.

He is expected to be released from Riker’s Island on December 4th, 2010 . He will then have to report to Arizona and enter his plea for his charges in Arizona and he will highly likely be put back in jail by summer 2011. Arizona does not play, they are one of the strictest states period on breaking the law. If he gets convicted in Arizona he will likely receive a 3 year sentence for that much cocaine and be out in like 2014. By then all the little teeny boppers that worship  Lil wayne will have grown up by then and moved on. Either way Lil Waynes problems are far from over when he leaves Rikers Island.

Drake says he is a good Rapper We have to disagree

Drake has opened up about the approach he takes to writing hit R&B songs and compared his style to Jay-Z and Lil Wayne.  According to Drake, he does not feel the need to write his words down on paper.

“With R&B, I know my sound. I know I make records to have sex to,” he explained in an interview. Who told him that ? Yea I want to have sex listening to a drake record get the hell out of here ! “The way Jay and Lil Wayne write rap, I write R&B. I don’t write lyrics down on paper. The other day, I was in the studio with Alicia Keys, and I wrote two songs just looking at her. I wish I could write that way for rap. With my rap songs, there’s so much of me I have to give that I don’t know if I could ever just flow. The thing is, I’m a great rapper. Who told Drake he was a great rapper ? Hahahahaha that is hilarious ! There’s two elements to rap: having the thoughts, and then being a great rapper. I can really rap the sh*t that I write. My tone, my inflection. When I listen to myself on records, I don’t feel like I don’t belong there. When I listen to ‘Forever,’ with three of my heroes, I fit right in.” We at Hiphopspy dont know where Drake fits in, his popularity like lil waynes is puzzling, a great rapper Drake is not. Hip Hop is in turmoil these days as long as we give these type of artists all the shine. Hip Hop is almost embarrassing when all the press and interviews are aimed at promoting commercial trash rappers  and I blame the fans and the DJs that will play follow whatever the other DJs do or listen to whatever commercial radio plays. If you don’t agree with me than you are probaly 15 years old or younger or a idiot or both.
