Fifty Cent is working on New Album Called Black Magic

According to Fifty, the upcoming album will be called Black Magic.

“I actually recorded three songs,” Fif revealed to interviewer Jonas Pettersen. “I had this idea, I went to a nightclub, afterparty, and it was a different kind of music going on there a little while before I actually got there. You know they play your music when you come, but the music they played before, they started playing material I created, which was more uptempo, more dance.

I wanted to make a song like that so I went to the studio because I’m traveling with my live band, I took the band with me and we sequenced it and recorded the actual record while I was out there. I did two of the songs I had production for and I had been writing those songs for a while so I finished them and actually recorded them while I was out here…Black Magic project, I’m excited about it. It has a different vibe, I won’t allow myself to be placed in a box where I can only do one style or do one kind of music…If they can understand how I enjoy different genres of music, for the people who have various tastes, they’ll really like it.”

The Game to drop the RED Album Collabs with Officer Ricky

The Game has kept his distance from the public eye for a few months, but songs of his have recently leaked. The California based emcee has reached out to fans with some leaked tracks and new collaborations. He recently spoke about this and more during an interview with MTV.com.

The Game, a former G-Unit affiliate, is now working with one of 50 Cent’s biggest enemies, Rick Ross. Still, don’t expect this to bring up old beef between “Hurricane” and Fif.

“Hey, man, me and Ross working together, it ain’t got nothing to do with me and 50,” he told MTV. “I ain’t even on 50′s head like that no more. You notice when 50 Cent put his little dis song out, he left me out. You notice when 50 talks, he leaves me out of that shit. I didn’t pick no sides in the 50 Cent/Rick Ross beef. I’m about hip-hop these days. Rick Ross is my nigga. 50 used to be my nigga.”

The Game has also announced that he has started working on a new album. This one will be titled The R.E.D. Album and he currently has beats from Timbaland and Drumma Boy [click to read] for the new disc.

“Bang Along,” a leaked track, hit the net recently. The Game says he leaked it to get people excited for his new work.

“Niggas like that, man,” he added. “I threw that out as a little frisbee.”

Aside from this, an unfinished track labeled “Cigar Music 2″ hit the net. The Game says he didn’t know much about the track, adding that he was surprised to hear that it leaked and that it was given that title.

The report also notes that The Game will drop a slew of mixtapes in the summertime, before his R.E.D. Album hits stores. No official release date for the album has been given.

Officer Ricky still talking reckless taking more jabs at Slim Shady

While claiming to be “past” his on-going feud with 50 Cent, Def Jam recording artist Rick Ross continues to be vocal in the press about his disdain for his rival and those affiliated to him. In a recent interview with Canadian television network Much Music, Ross takes more jabs at the G-Unit/Shady camp.

According to MuchMusic.com, Ross revealed that despite his recent challenge to Eminem, he remains a fan of Shady Records’ flagship artist.

However, he isn’t very impressed with Em’s latest releases.

“I’m just not impressed with the music I’m hearing,” the Miami rapper stated. “But hopefully, Imma buy his album when it come out, if it don’t disappoint me too bad. You know, we’ll see.”

The comment comes just weeks after Ross told MTV News that he would be interested in being involved with Eminem’s highly anticipated fifth major label release, Relapse, due out May 19.

While Ross did not necessarily indicate a desire to continue a rivalry with Eminem, he did continue his war of words with 50′s G-Unit camp in the new interview, which is set to air on an upcoming episode of MuchNewsWeekly.

“I done put out a number one album, and you know, I finished those guys. G-Unit was dropped from Interscope,” he added, clapping. “They still can’t dress, they’re monkeys, but that’ll never change.”

While the beef between 50 Cent and Rick Ross may not go down in Hip-Hop history for the actual rhymes exchanged, it does stand out as one of the most entertaining, employing tactics including animated videos, X-Rated videos and outings with the mother of one of Ross’ children.

Asked if he felt 50 Cent had taken things too far, the portly Slip-N-Slide recruit explained that as long as the beef did not escalate to gun violence, one could not say it had “gone too far.”

“Where I come from, you need AK-47s to go far,” he explained. “Anything short of that, we’ll label you a girl, kick you in the butt and send you home, and that’s pretty much what I did.”

Rick Ross’s third studio release, Deeper Than Rap, remains at the number four position on The Billboard 200 chart, where it debuted in the number one spot last week with 150,000 copies sold in the first week of release. All the copies were rumored to be bought by the label to make it look like Officer Ricky had a number 1 album.
