Some Faggot album reviewer dawgs Eminems new Album in his review
Many fans permanently tuned into the World Wide Web have already weighed in on Eminem’s forthcoming release Relapse. The highly anticipated album leaked to the web nearly two weeks before its scheduled May 19 release. Early reactions included outrage from Nick Cannon after one track took a shot at singer Mariah Carey and mixed reviews from other celebrities panned on the album.
However, one reviewer just wants Slim Shady to “grow up.”
Chicago Sun-Times reviewer Jim DeRogatis makes it clear that he has no love for the new-old Eminem. “Nothing in popular culture ages more quickly than carefully calculated outrage,” DeRogatis writes in a review of Relapse that appears in today’s edition of the paper.
DeRogatis adds that Eminem spends half of the album looking for love and the other half asking for “understanding and sympathy for the drug problems that derailed his career.”
Ultimately, DeRogatis believes that Relapse, despite any forthcoming commercial successs, is the death knell in Eminem’s career.
“Well, that sabbatical was your opportunity to bow out if you really wanted to, Em old pal. Instead, you came back with a hackneyed retread that gives us no better idea of who the ‘real’ Marshall Mathers really is. And I for one don’t care to know.”

Nick Cannon is mad at Eminem over Mariah Carey Diss
Who is probably the only person in the world who can erase a smile off the always good-natured face of Nick Cannon? One guess. He’s known as rap’s Mr. No-Holds-Barred: Eminem.
Cannon has taken major offense to a leaked record from Em’s Relapse, “Bagpipes From Baghdad,” in which Em raps about taking Mariah Carey “back” from Nick Cannon. (Carey has denied Eminem’s claims that they dated for six months.)
“Nick Cannon better back the f— up,” Em warns the actor/musician on the track. “I’m not playing, I want her back, you punk.”
Later in the song, Em leaves a parting salvo: “Nick Cannon, you pr—, I wish you luck with that f—in’ whore.”
Cannon had a millions things to say in response on his blog on Friday.
“A mediocre (at best) Eminem record that sounds like it was written in 2001,” Cannon blogged. “At first, I thought it was old material that had been dug up from when dude ‘fantasized’ about having a pretend fling with Mariah. … But all of a sudden I hear my name in the verse! My first reaction was like, ‘This is his new sh–? Wow, that’s too bad.’ ”
Cannon said that Eminem’s insults amounted to “racist bigotry.” “She has had enough difficulty in her life dealing with racial and ethnicity issues,” he wrote. “Believe it or not, Mariah is the same racial mixture as our beloved president, Barack Obama. (Black Father + White Mother= BLACK)
“Maybe I’m going too far, but I thought we got past the days where white men could spew vulgar obscenities at our beautiful queens and get away with it,” Cannon continued. “What’s next? Are we going to let this trash say something horrible about our lovely first lady, Mrs. Michelle Obama? Or would Marshall have talked sideways out of his neck like this about Oprah Winfrey? This act of racist bigotry cannot go unnoticed. Calling my wife a ‘c—’ and a ‘whore’ is way worse than anything Don Imus could have ever said. So trust, repercussions will be served. Anybody got Al Sharpton’s number?! LOL Let’s not forget about Eminem’s amateur mixtape rants of calling African Americans ‘ni—-’ and how he hates ‘black bi—es.’ ”
The actor basically vowed revenge on Slim Shady, joking that he would begin rapping again and threatening comedic retribution.
“So, Miss Marshall, I’m going to make you wish you never spoke my name and regret the ungodly things you said about my wife,” Cannon continued. “This is going to be fun! It’s however you want it! Just remember, you did this to yourself! Your legacy has now been tainted from this day forth! You will now be known as the rapper who lost to corny-ass Nick Cannon!”

Officer Ricky still talking reckless taking more jabs at Slim Shady
While claiming to be “past” his on-going feud with 50 Cent, Def Jam recording artist Rick Ross continues to be vocal in the press about his disdain for his rival and those affiliated to him. In a recent interview with Canadian television network Much Music, Ross takes more jabs at the G-Unit/Shady camp.
According to MuchMusic.com, Ross revealed that despite his recent challenge to Eminem, he remains a fan of Shady Records’ flagship artist.
However, he isn’t very impressed with Em’s latest releases.
“I’m just not impressed with the music I’m hearing,” the Miami rapper stated. “But hopefully, Imma buy his album when it come out, if it don’t disappoint me too bad. You know, we’ll see.”
The comment comes just weeks after Ross told MTV News that he would be interested in being involved with Eminem’s highly anticipated fifth major label release, Relapse, due out May 19.
While Ross did not necessarily indicate a desire to continue a rivalry with Eminem, he did continue his war of words with 50′s G-Unit camp in the new interview, which is set to air on an upcoming episode of MuchNewsWeekly.
“I done put out a number one album, and you know, I finished those guys. G-Unit was dropped from Interscope,” he added, clapping. “They still can’t dress, they’re monkeys, but that’ll never change.”
While the beef between 50 Cent and Rick Ross may not go down in Hip-Hop history for the actual rhymes exchanged, it does stand out as one of the most entertaining, employing tactics including animated videos, X-Rated videos and outings with the mother of one of Ross’ children.
Asked if he felt 50 Cent had taken things too far, the portly Slip-N-Slide recruit explained that as long as the beef did not escalate to gun violence, one could not say it had “gone too far.”
“Where I come from, you need AK-47s to go far,” he explained. “Anything short of that, we’ll label you a girl, kick you in the butt and send you home, and that’s pretty much what I did.”
Rick Ross’s third studio release, Deeper Than Rap, remains at the number four position on The Billboard 200 chart, where it debuted in the number one spot last week with 150,000 copies sold in the first week of release. All the copies were rumored to be bought by the label to make it look like Officer Ricky had a number 1 album.

Eminems Relapse Album Leaked Yesterday Indicates there are 2 albums
The Long awaited Relapse album leaked to the internet yesterday. I listened to the whole Album and I still havent digested it all the way. Track 19 Steve Berman Skit indicates that there are 2 albums. So I dont know if they are going to release 2 albums back to back or what, but Eminem definately says there are 2 albums. Bagpipes over baghdad the beat is crushing and Em is spitting furious heat. The Insane track is about getting raped by a step dad, Im not even sure what the hell is going on with that one. The track hello is heat and Beautiful has some of the most vicious spitting I have ever heard. Overall I have no opinion I will listen again today Eminem has already earned his position in rap history. Like on the Album he says guess whos back.

Eminem planning violent game for iphone
Rapper Eminem has revealed a gaming application that could find its way into the iTunes application store.
The rapper announced the game on his Twitter page and posted a link to the game, which is also titled Relapse.
Eminem has had a tense relationship with iTunes.
The two have battled in court twice, the first time over a commercial that featured Eminem’s track “Lose Yourself,” the second over downloading royalties.
In 2005, Eminem’s Eight Mile Style publishing company agreed to an undisclosed financial settlement over an iPod commercial that featured “Lose Yourself,” without permission.
In March of 2009, FBT Productions, a company affiliated with Eminem, sued Universal Records in an attempt to get higher royalty rates on all digital sales through Apple’s iTunes App Store.
FBT argued that their tracks were “masters,” which were then reproduced as digital copies.
While Eminem was not a party to that lawsuit, FBT, he would have made millions, had FBT one the case, which went in favor of Universal, after a judge ruled that a sold online is no different than a song bought in a store.
It appears that the various legal skirmishes have not impacted Eminem’s relationship with Apple thus far, although the rapper’s proposed game may not help the relationship.
The screen capture of The Relapse game features a tattooed figure angrily approaching a skeleton or masked-liked figure, with a studded 2×4.
The game may not meet Apple’s standards for decency, as similar apps like “Slasher” and “Murderdrome” have been rejected in the past.
More recently, an updated iPhone app from Nine Inch Nails was rejected, reportedly due to the lyrical content of their album The Downward Spiral.
Trent Reznor, who is currently protesting the decision, pointed out that iTunes carries the album in the store, yet has blocked the album’s application to iPhones.

Is Eminems Relapse Too Late?
Despite an upcoming XXL cover, a promotional push from MTV, and a pair of singles that generated buzz and dollars for his record label, has Eminem’s time come and gone? According to a new article in the Boston Globe, the answer is yes.
Journalist Sarah Rodman argues that Eminem may have waited too long to mount his comeback, and that the country has become too fragmented to be captivated or shocked by the often controversial Slim Shady.
“Is it possible that the polarizing hip-hop star waited too long to reemerge?” Rodman writes. “That a country fragmented by politics, crisis, and technology can no longer rally around one controversial figure? With buzz for his fifth album, ‘Relapse,’ due out May 19, on simmer instead of high, could it be that Eminem is over?”
With a music industry hampered by illegal downloading, Eminem proved he is still capable of generating income, as the author notes. The Dr. Dre and 50 Cent assisted “Crack a Bottle” set a digital sales record, moving up 71 slots on the Billboard Hot 100 to claim the top position in its first seven days of release.
Two more singles are scheduled for release in advance of Relapse and Eminem will also team up with Marvel Comics character The Punisher for a two part special.
