Rapper Motoe Blizzid, real name Nathan Filby, alleges the self-professed King of the South used parts of his 2004 song “Reverence.”

According to legal documents, obtained by RadarOnline.com, Filby claims the 2006 single — featured on Tip’s King LP — has the “same rate of harmonic range” and states the two recordings have “nearly identical instrumental melodic lines in terms of pitch, shape, and rhythm.”
Filby is requesting a jury trial against TI, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., and seeks damages and profits derived from the song.
TI is currently in a halfway house near his home in Atlanta, Georgia after serving less than a year behind bars for weapons possession. When it rains it pours for T.I
