Just before his death Michael Jackson looked like the vibrant, engaged, tenacious artist we know and love. It’s unbelievable he died so soon after these pictures were taken.

We’ve learned Michael Jackson’s family will celebrate Michael with a private service on Tuesday July 7 at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn in Los Angeles, CA.

Following the private service at Forest Lawn, a motorcade will proceed the Staples Center complex in downtown Los Angeles for a public memorial.

We understand the family hasn’t decided whether the memorial will be at the Staples Center or its smaller Nokia Theater, a decision will be announced shortly.

The 20,000-seat Staples center is where the images above show Michael’s last night – it’s reported Michael rehearsed until midnight June 24, MJ died roughly 12 hours later.
