Lil Waynes Hurricane movie is so trash it doesn’t make it to theatres
One month after the release of Lil Wayne and Bow Wow’s Hurricane Season straight-to-dvd movie, Weinstein Co. senior executive David Glasser has justified the company’s decision to avoid theaters.
According to Glasser, the movie industry is still going through a financial crunch. Not true Avatar just broke all kinds of records, its a financial crunch for wack movies !
Hurricane Season” director Tim Story “Barbershop,” “Fantastic Four” told Company Town that he was disappointed the movie never made it to the big screen.
“I have to applaud them for making the movie, but I don’t believe the job was finished,” he said. The company said its well-publicized financial issues had nothing to do with the decision regarding “Hurricane Season.” In a statement, Weinstein Co. senior executive David Glasser said, “It’s a very tough marketplace and unfortunately the film did not test well. It was in the best interest of the financial returns on the picture to go straight to video.” Basically what he is saying is the movie was trash, nobody wanted to see it and nobody would pay to see it, and nobody is going to buy the DVD. Who wants to see Lil Wayne and Bow Wow in a movie except for the rainbow wearing crowd.
