Ja Rule to be released from prison in February 2013
Ja Rule’s two-year sentence will soon come to an end. After heading into prison in June 2011, Ja Rule will be released from prison in a matter of months. The former Murder Inc. rapper is scheduled to be released from jail on February 21, 2013. Ja Rule entered prison on June 7, 2011 on charges stemming from an arrest made in 2007 after he left a concert at NYC’s Beacon Theatre. Police pulled over his vehicle and upon inspection found a loaded semi-automatic handgun. While in jail, Ja Rule has been working on releasing his latest album Pain is Love 2 and publishing an open letter addressing what life is like in the detention facility. Ja Rule’s career has never been the same after losing his beef with 50 Cent and Eminem.
