In his concert in Madison Square Garden Kanye said the following about gay people::
“Open your fucking minds. Open your minds. Be accepting of different people and let people be who they are. You know how many people came to me calling me gay cause I wear my jeans the fresh way? Or because I said hey, dude, how you gonna say ‘fag’ right in front of a gay dude’s face and act like that’s okay. That shit is disrespectful. Coming from Chicago, where if you saw somebody that was gay you were supposed to stay ten feet away. It should be time to break out of the insinuations that I was sayin’, the stereotypes, or the fear, the backlash that I would get if you don’t believe in what I believe in, accepting people for who they are…they’re very talented and if they do something special in the world and they’re discriminated. I’ve flown across the world y’all, and I’ve come back here to tell you - open your minds and live a happier life…”
We at Hiphopspy say it makes us wonder if Kanye has a little koolaide in his drawers ? Look at the photo above, would you wear that in your hood??Hmmmmmmm

Lil Wayne hid in the car and would not come out when they were shouting at him about him dissing crips on his track. It goes to show you that Lil Wayne is not a gangster and he is not going to ever be recognized as anything more than a glitter wearing, man kissing, codeine drinking spineless jellyfish.

Interscope Records is cashing in on the Dr. Dre branded label with the launch of a new alcoholic beverage line, Aftermath Cognac.According to Billboard, Interscope Geffen A&M Records, home to multi-platinum artists including 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, and Black Eyed Peas’s will.i.am, signed a joint venture with beverage company Drinks Americas and plan to release the line in the next 60 days.

Cognac producer Abecassis will be responsible for the product’s supply, distribution, and production. Once Aftermath Cognac hits retail stores, the label is expected to introduce an 80-proof flavored and unflavored vodka.

The release of both products will be marketed around Dr. Dre’s long-anticipated album Detox. The famed producers album release has been confirmed late last month when he promised to have it drop before next year.

We at Hiphopspy like drinking Cognac but there is no way in hell we would drink aftermath Cognac. That would be like drinking E&J but worse.

Perhaps a sign of things to come, more and more artists are speaking about their role in Dr. Dre’s alleged upcoming album, Detox. Possibly the most anticipated album in Hip Hop history, the latest artist to speak on the long-awaited album, which is to be released in November or December is none other than 50 Cent.”I recorded material with Dr. Dre for the Detox,” said 50. “It’s great. I want it back. I want the records back,” joked Fifty.

50 did indicate, however, that he wants leftover material Dre has. “He has the music. It’s right there in the computer. I stop by his studio every time and get something that adds something significant to my project each time I’m about to put a record out. And I spend three or four days there. To me, he’s the best producer in the game.

“When I walk in the studio, I record the first beat that comes on regardless if I think it’s a hit record or not,” 50 continued. “We get in work mode, get comfortable and go through the material that’s in the computer. Dre always has hit records. Sometimes, artists that need producers, they need someone to create a direction for them musically. I need the jewels he’s just got laying around. He don’t gotta tell me what to do with it. All he has to do is say, ‘Track six.’ Or, ‘Go to track eight.’ He’ll have hits playing there. You just have to get in and get them.”

It’s 50’s guess - just as it is anyone else’s - as to when Dre will finally deem the album ready for release. “Hopefully he’ll get it done and put it out,” he said. “I’m waiting for the Detox. All I can say is, Dr. Dre is the best producer in my eyes. Just the consistency over the years. He knows what he wants. He’s such a perfectionist that it becomes difficult for him to put it out.”

In the face of being exposed as five o and a phony from thesmokinggun and condemnation from the original Freeway Ricky Ross, rapper Rick Ross continues to deny allegations that his image of a former drug kingpin is a fabrication.
In an exclusive interview with Diva magazine, Ross is adamant that his lyrics illuminating the culture of drug dealing is from personal experience and that he’s never attempted to hide details from his past.”When I’m making my music and talking about blow, it’s because I did it,” Rick Ross maintains. “When I say I’m rich off cocaine it’s because I did it. I never tried to hide my past! I put my name inside of all my CDs. My company has my SS #. I could’ve put a company name.” And that is why he was exposed because he was traced back to being five o.

Indirectly addressing accusations that he worked as a corrections officer in 1997, Ross tells a different version of what he was doing at the age of 19.

“I was one of the only n***as in the city with a show truck at 19 (years old) on Dayton’s with TVs doing my own independent thing. We at Hiphopspy say what does that prove? You had a show truck, hahaha.I done put a lot of losses in this game,” Ross reasons. “I done took losses in the street, losses with the music. I’ve been up and I’ve been down; that’s what makes me who I am.”

Last week Freeway Ricky Ross, the incarcerated former LA drug trafficker and man who inspired the rapper’s namesake, accused the Miami MC of stealing his name to create a fake street persona.

Rapper Rick Ross brushes off these allegations by arguing that his status as a veteran in music and the streets keeps him above having to explain his actions to anyone else.

“I never ratted on a n***a, I never prosecuted a n***a, I never locked up a n***a that is first and foremost,” Ross said. “I always felt being the man that I am and the boss that I am I never owed a n***a an explanation. Every man gotta look his kids in the eye and have a reason for feeding them or not. For that sole reason I believed in the death penalty for rats and informants.”

During the article, Ross issued a challenge to anyone who was brave enough to test his reputation or his street credentials.

“I surpassed my life goals 18 months ago , but you see where I am now; sitting in a new Benz, $100,000 grand cash in my pocket and a dirty white tee,” Ross stated. “You know I’m strapped to the teeth. We got more bullets that we got dollars. That’s just how it goes and that’s how it’s going to go until the day we die…a n***a don’t like it, get at me. I’m the muthf**kin biggest boss that you seen this far.”

Rick Ross’ sophomore album Trilla was released in March and has currently sold over 600,000 copies. His label bought half of those numbers.

We at Hiphopspy have reached our verdict, and we find Rick Ross a fake, he was exposed as former five o, and he has no street credibility except a show truck at 19,hahaha. He is a straight up studio gangster.

Though T.I. and Shawty Lo have kept relatively quiet as of late about their dispute, neither man has taken direct action in burying the beef. Stopping by 103 Jamz radio in Norfolk, Virginia, T.I. attempted the task through dismissal of the situation, though his method worked in condescending jabs here and there.
Wanting to step back from the problem, T.I. put the “Bankhead” accusations into context, and then immediately refuted them. “I’ve been out for nine years, Paper Trail is my sixth album. If any of these claims had any validity to them, wouldn’t it have been said by now? I mean, if he felt like this, why didn’t he say this when he was promoting ‘Laffy Taffy’?”With “Laffy Taffy” and “Dey Know” as Shawty Lo’s high points in his career, T.I. clearly has the upper hand in the success category, to which he corresponds to certain characteristics in each rapper. “In life we all have positions to play, and I’ve accepted my position in life as a winner, as a leader, as the example. The one who sets the standard of how to do things, and how to do things correctly.” Coming full circle with his compare-contrast model, T.I. continued, “I’ve accepted his position as being a hater. And if I don’t win, he can’t hate. So I’ma do my job, so he can continue to do his.”

Summing up his status in the Shawty Lo beef, T.I. was calm and direct on his ending thought. “I’ve addressed it, I’ve acknowledged it, I’ve demolished it, and now I must dismiss it.” T.I the snitch has spoken.

“I went to the court date yesterday. The bitchass NI99A (a witness against them) aint show up so thats a good thing. … In my eyes we still co-d’s [co defendants] … And I know things will go in our favor.” Two months after posting comments online about his court date, charges were filed against Thompson for intimidating and retaliating against a witness.

Many MySpace users list “Killadelphia,” as their hometown. Philli Criminal Intelligence Units say they are aware of the massive catalog of incriminating photographs and messages on social network profiles. MySpace says that it works with law enforcement agencies whenever its content will aid in a criminal investigation.

Wyclef Jean is being sued by diamond dealer to the hip-hop stars, Jacob the Jeweler, for an unpaid bill totaling over $300,000.According to the Associated Press, the suit was filed yesterday in a Manhattan court, claiming Wyclef has a debt for watches and jewelry he bought over a period of several years.

The suit claims the Haitian rapper bought the jewelry between March 2002 and January 2006 for $765,100. Jacob and Company Incorporated says Wyclef still owes $319,680, despite “repeated demands for payment.”

The Jeweler, born Jacob Arabov, was sentenced in June to 2 1/2 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to falsifying records and giving false statements to investigators about a multi-state drug ring. He was accused of helping to launder over $270 million in drug money for the Black Mafia Family (BMF) and began serving a 30 month federal prison sentence last month.

Reps for Wyclef could not be reached for comment. We at Hiphopspy have to say why waste so much money on bling. I mean whats the point.
