Common Punks out Drake
After Common went in on soft rappers on the track “Sweet,” Drake caught some feeling about the track because everybody knew Common was talking about him. Drake announced at a concert that if anyone had a problem with him, they should say it to his face. _____insert joke here. During an interview with some commercial radio station Common said that it wasn’t directed at Drake but said that if he felt he was offended, then so be it. Whats he gonna do about it ?
Common said “I made a song that’s definitely a Hip Hop song. In Hip Hop, it’s like stepping in the ring. Rap is a contact sport. So I talked about this cat that’s soft and sweet,” he said. “Drake felt offended and felt it was directed towards him, so he said, ‘Man, say it to my face.’ My thing is, I’ma keep it Hip Hop. Stay on that tip. But if he falls in that category, then so be it. I’m not going to hold my tongue.”

Common goes in on Cashmoney Records then tap dances about it
Some of the punk boy shit that goes on in rap these days needs to stop. If you are going to diss someone say their name and stand by the diss. Take it back to the streets when dissing meant something and heads would get cracked for talking reckless. All these subliminal beefs and twitter beefs and girly beefs are making rap look like a Lady Gaga festival. The shit is getting sickening. Hip Hop continues to decline and go down the wrong path. Common spit some lyrics on his song sweet then tap dances about who the lyrics were meant for.
On his song “Sweet,” Common goes in on all these Cashmoney sissy “soft” rappers, “Y’all niggas man, y’all soft motherfuckers / Singing all around me man, la la la / You ain’t motherfucking Frank Sinatra / Uh, lil’ bitch / Sweet ass motherfucker.” Many believed this was a diss directed at Drake,or Lil Wayne. Common recently spoke on V103 Atlanta’s radio show where he spoke on the lyrics. “Some people have been saying that, but on that song, I’m just talking about whoever the cap fits. I’m talking about rappers out there that’s soft and doing the same thing. So if the cap fits, then that’s who it is,” he said “That’s all it is. It’s whoever the cap fits, then let ‘em wear it. I think it’s a lot of creative artists out there. I think Drake makes some good music.”
“On the song ‘Sweet’ – which we did the video for, too, in Haiti, we just put that out a lot of rappers may feel it. And if they feel it, then that’s who I’m talking about.”

Machine Gun Kelly and Yelawolf Corny Beef
MGK recently took to the airwaves explaining that he has no problem with the Shady Records signee and that he was just misunderstood.
“Do I have a problem with Yelawolf? No. I don’t think Hip Hop needs that. I think it’s corny when it’s two white guys. Especially when we’re cut from the same type of cloth,” he said. “I think that I’m young and I’m wild and I say some things, things just fly out of my mouth that are taken a different way. The thing with Yelawolf didn’t start with the Cypher thing. It started with me doing an interview – more like multiple interviews. I always get the Yelawolf question, comparisons and stuff like that. You start answering in a different way – it’s hard to explain.”
The problems started with subliminal lines on the 2011 wack BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher, he pinpoints the problem to his impression of Yela during an interview with The Breakfast Club.
“The interview that they were referring to when Yelawolf did do the interview and he saw the stuff was when I was drunk and talking stuff. It wasn’t bad what I said. I just think it’s a Yelawolf impression – I don’t know where it went wrong. Honestly, everything I’m doing is all in good fun, man. I think people took things the wrong way. We never had the chance to speak,” he said. “I’m 21, man. I’m going to say some stuff that people aren’t going to understand.”
