Scarface is in Jail for not paying Child Support
Scarface has been incarcerated for not paying child support. Scarface has several outstanding child support cases and has had to appear before several courts since his initial incarceration.
“He’s gotten transferred to a few jails last year and some of the cases are in different states,” the source said. “This whole situation could’ve been avoided.”
Additionally, Scarface has not been assisted in his plight from anybody close to him, even though aid has been requested.
Other details to the case have yet to be revealed, but Scarface reportedly has a tremendous financial commitment before him. Being jailed further compounds the situation since he is unable to generate income to even start paying the support, the source said. Whats up with all these men not paying child support ? It makes no sense to me when men do not take care of their children. If you are going to have children then make sure your child support is paid. The only one who suffers is the child.

Lil Wayne Pleads Guilty in Arizona Drug case
Appearing live via satellite from his Rikers Island jail in New York, “Tha Block Is Hot” rapper copped to a drug charge Monday in Yuma County, Arizona.
The good news is he won’t be adding more time to his current year long stint in the big house.

Weezy pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a dangerous drug stemming from his 2008 arrest, when the U.S. Border Patrol searched the hip-hopster’s tour bus at a checkpoint and found one ounce of cocaine, 41 grams of Ecstasy, drug paraphernalia and a handgun.
In return for his admission, Yuma County District Attorney’s spokesman Kevin Tunell says that several other counts were dropped, including possession of a narcotic drug for sale, misconduct involving weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lil Wayne entered Rikers in March after copping to attempted weapons possession that resulted from a 2007 bust—when cops searched his tour bus and found a loaded .40-caliber pistol.

If he remains on good behavior, the 27-year-old Grammy winner could be out in as little as eight months.
And by switching his plea to guilty in the Arizona case, according to the deal hashed out with Yuma prosecutors, Lil Wayne is now expected to receive just three years’ probation.
The MC’s Arizona-based lawyer was unavailable for comment. Sentencing is set for June 30.

Lil Wayne is Finally Behind Bars to Begin his Jail Sentence
After saying goodbye on concert stages and online video streams, Lil Wayne had nothing to add as he was sentenced Monday to a year in jail for having a loaded gun on his tour bus.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper delivered only a brief bow to fans and supporters as he was led out of a courtroom in handcuffs to start serving his sentence.

With that, Lil Wayne headed off to face his punishment in a case that had shadowed him as he became one of music’s most prolific and profitable figures in recent years. Arrested in July 2007, he pleaded guilty in October to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. He admitted he had the loaded .40-caliber semiautomatic gun on his bus.

His lawyer, Stacey Richman, said the rapper was resolute as he was taken away.
“He knew what he had to do, and he’s doing it,” she said.

Lil Wayne will serve his sentence in the Rikers Island jail complex. Richman said she expected he would be held in protective custody, but the city Correction Department said it was still deciding on that. Protective custody is given to inmates who, for a variety of reasons including notoriety, require separation from the general prison population.

The 27-year-old rap star could be released in about eight months with good behavior. But then he will face his trial in Arizona on more charges which will probaly get him a even stiffer sentence. Arizona is waiting for his N.Y sentence to be complete before he will go on trial and be sentenced again to even more time in Tent City in Arizona.
