DMX is done he owes 1.5 million in back taxes
DMX owes 1.5 million in back taxes. His days as a bigtime money maker are long over.
Detroit News reports that the state of New York filed a lien against DMX and his wife Tashera on January 2, and another for $8,343 from March 2006.
The rapper owes the New York State Tax Commission $44,357 and $370,460 and liens were filed against the couple in 2005 and 2006 to collect the monies owed.
DMX also owes the IRS income earned in Arizona from 2002, 2003 and 2005, totaling $663,553 dollars.
A lien was filed against the rapper in September of 2007 to collect the delinquent funds.
DMX is the latest rapper run afoul of the IRS. Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, MC Hammer and Method Man have all been sued by the IRS for delinquent taxes. A wise man once said a fool and his money are soon parted.

X went before a judge earlier today after he allegedly threw a plate of food at a jail officer during his 90 day incarceration for animal cruelty charges.
Authorities say X took a meal from a tray and became upset and threw the food when told he couldn’t have it.
Late last week, X copped a plea deal and was sentenced today to supervised probation by Maricopa County Superior Court. X will be allowed to serve his probation and undergo drug counseling in Florida, where he plans to return.
He says he is ready to continue work on a new album – we say yeah to that.

DMX in jail house pink
The popular media is reporting in yet another attempt to degrade what they know nothing about – poking fun at the pink attire of Maricopa county inmates. I’m with X, “This is ridiculous, this is disrespectful,” DMX said with a sarcastic laugh during an interview with Fox.
Like all of Arpaio’s other inmates in the Maricopa county jail, DMX must wear pink t-shirts, underwear and socks. According to Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, DMX is serving time for charges of animal cruelty, drugs and fraud. Arpaio did not express any sympathy for the hardcore rapper, adding, that jail was not supposed to be fun.

DMX Arrested again
DMX has been arrested and slapped with a felony charge of taking the identity of another at a Phoenix mall. The rapper was arrested July 19 in a Phoenix mall, due to an alleged incident at the Scottsdale Mayo clinic in April where the rapper was being treated for an illness.
While there, he allegedly used an alias, “Troy Jones,” and defaulted on a $7,500 bill.
DMX, real name Earl Simmons, was booked at the Maricopa County jail.
The arrest marks X’s fourth bust in two months, on charges that range from alleged illicit drug use to numerous motor vehicle violations.
On July 2, police arrested the rapper earlier this month at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
On June 27, he was arrested in Miami for allegedly attempting to purchase cocaine and marijuana.
And on June 23, DMX was arrested in Miami for not having a valid driver’s license.
Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio feels that the rapper, real name Earl Simmons, has had more than enough opportunities to reform and deserves stiffer punishment.
“He’s back in jail again,” Arpaio told the Associated Press. “I don’t know why judges keep letting this guy out. Every time he goes in there, he gets out on bond. I’m hoping this is the one time he’s going to pay the penalty for his offense.”
Because of X’s celebrity status, Arpaio confirmed that the Yonkers native would be held in protective custody.
“They may not like his music,” he quipped. At press time, a bond has not been given in DMX’s case, and his lawyer Cameron Morgan has declined to comment.
